What The Client Wanted
We recently completed a job in Tilbrook, Milton Keynes for a client, where the curtain wall began to fade due to it being exposed to adverse weather conditions. The client wanted their entrance curtain walling resprayed and the steel cladding given a new coating around the exterior of the building.
What We Did
Our highly experienced team here at Advanced Refurbishments began works onsite, by prepping the curtain wall before using quality commercial spraying equipment to change the faded silver colour into a cool matt black by spraying the exterior. The team used an 80ft cherry picker and scissor lift to gain access to the top of the building’s entrance; this ensured that an even coat and finish was maintained throughout the spraying process.
When it came to the steel cladding coating, the team began coating the panels with a protective layer using state of the art equipment, as this gives the panels an additional thickness and strength to prevent the likelihood of future damage. The client wanted the steel coated the same matte black colour RAL 9005 as the curtain walling spray on the entrance.
The project took a total of 4 weeks to complete and was carried out by two Advanced Refurbishments teams. The client was impressed with the quality and professional finish of the job and could not be happier.
